PermitFiled is operated by MJK Properties, LLC, 2850 34th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713. It checks public government permit data every day and turns new air, water and waste permit applications into searchable pages, free weekly roundups and filtered email alerts.
Where the data comes from
- Texas: TCEQ pending NSR air permit applications, plus TCEQ water quality and industrial/hazardous waste records on data.texas.gov
- California: State Water Board SMARTS industrial and construction stormwater notices of intent
- New York: NYSDEC DART permit applications, including written-comment deadlines
- Maryland: MDE air permit and solid waste applications
- Louisiana: LDEQ public notices for air, water and solid waste permits
- Alabama: ADEM permit applications received (last 30 days) and ADEM public notices
- Georgia: EPD Air Protection Branch weekly Public Advisories (air permit applications received and draft permits)
- Federal: EPA notices from the Federal Register API
As of 2026-11-04 the database holds 1,290 records: Texas (649), California (239), New York (160), Alabama (132), Georgia (42), Louisiana (38), Federal (EPA) (19), Maryland (11). Every record links to its official source. Sources whose robots.txt disallows automated access are excluded.
What we don't collect
We don't store or publish personal names, phone numbers or emails of individual permit contacts, only facility, company and permit details.
